Turn It Around: The Story of East Bay Punk

Loved how long and focused it was on bands that don’t matter to anyone but the freaks who care about east bay punk. Glad it didn’t focus too much on the major label era and shit like that. So boring.

Not bad for a 2.5 hour documentary. I grew up listening to this music, so I personally found it interesting. It drags on a bit, feels longer than it is, isn't terribly organized, glosses over or completely leaves out a few notable bands, and is a bit over-dramatic at points, but it is informative and interesting enough, but probably only if you like this music. It is inspiring to see how all these kids and adults came together and supported each other to a create a communal DIY success.
