On holidays in Hong Kong, Mrs Ma gives birth to identical twins. A criminal in the same hospital attempts to escape, taking one of the twins hostage. The child is lost during the confusion, and Mr and Mrs Ma return to New York with one child. Years later, John Ma is a famous conductor and pianist, unaware that his twin brother "Boomer" is a mechanic/race car driver/bodyguard in Hong Kong. When John travels to Hong Kong to give a concert, the twins get caught up in each other's business, about which they are anything but experts. (imdb)

I think there was a law in the late 80s and early 90s that made every single action movie star contractually obligated to do one of these ridiculous "twins" films where they play both a good and evil version of themselves. Like this one, they never really worked.

Jackie Chan stars in dual roles in this action/comedy. The king of slapstick action takes on the role of street punk and concert pianist who are separated at birth in this movie. The story is pretty fun in this movie but some of the bits get old towards the end of the movie as they try to string out the problems with mistaken identity. The action scenes were well done and Jackie Chan, as always, does an amazing job of making it all look as cool as can be. Not my favorite Chan movie, but go

Average-ish Chan film. Everything is in place for Chan's trademark charisma and humor to knock it out of the park, but the delivery is bland and at times boring. For fans, and those trying to avoid his most recent trash.

Not nearly as fun as I remembered but still solid. If you can track down the uncut Cantonese version which is much better and a lot funnier.

Prior to his migration to Hollywood, Chan's roles were often utilizing him as an action star only, his reliance on comedy was fairly uncommon. In "Twin Dragons" we see the emergence of the Chan that has since become his typecasted character. It's funny, has decent stunts, and a decent popcorn flick, but there's not much special about it.

Was about to give this a much lower score but damn that last fight scene has some Jackie magic in it.

Jackie is better horribly dubbed, and funnier than in his recent pictures while sporting way way more cool action, fighting, and stunts, a welcome relief. Of course some of the action is disjointed with severe continuity problems typical of hong kong pictures, and a couple slow scenes distract, however i am always fascinated by one person being two.

I love goofy Chan but maybe there is a line. There is a little too much time spent on shenanigans and not enough kicking bad guy face. I did love the audacity to quadruple down on the fainting joke.

Jackie Chain is always be a legendary actor and this film is master piece of his work. When an American pianist travels to Hong Kong to give a concert, he meets his twin brother, who is an accomplished street fighter there. Problems arise when they are mistaken for the other.

You can just skip to the final sequence with awesome fight choreo and stunts.. All movie is kinda obvious and boring. Humor is fine, Jackie is fine but its too obvious and too much dragged.
