Since I've finally worked through all the official material related to Twin Peaks (what a ride!) seeing the Missing Pieces was a very enjoyable kind of closure. Understandable why most of it was cut, and the Bowie scenes make everything even odder than before, but I'm glad I saw it nonetheless.

A nice collection of outtakes from FWWM, even some scenes that would be among the best in the film (but might not fit the overall mood). So for a fan of the universe it’s a real treat, and even sheds some light on some of the hundreds of lingering questions. And it yields more Sheryl Lee so it’s a win

Just a set of outtakes, so not in any way a "movie". As is usually the case, most of the cut material is better off being cut, especially since FIRE WALK WITH ME was really a horror movie about the last days of Laura Palmer, but there are some powerful scenes here, and some moments that clarify where and how certain events in the film took place (such as where the Pink Room is). Certainly not essential.

Scenes from Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me that were cut out of the movie. Almost all of the humourus scene of FWWM are in here, which explains why the movie is so dark and less quirky than the TV show. There are also several scenes which help to understand FWWM a little bit better. The David Bowie scene is extended and even more confusing. Which means we're still not talking about Judy.

How does one rate something like this? If you're really into 'Twin Peaks', it's definitely worth seeing.

Some truly wonderful scenes. For the most part you can see why they wouldn't have worked as a part of the harrowing FWWM but as a complementary parallel movie this is an absolute treasure.

Not a film, but it is a nice addendum to "Fire Walk with Me". Even without the narrative binding everything together, I was enjoying just hanging with these characters. Even if, uh, it gets dark.

I can see why most of these scenes were cut. I think Fire Walk with Me is a better film because it didn't contain the scenes that are presented here. At the same time, particularly the ending would have maybe been nice to have been added to the film, as it does give more clarity as well as more closure. And while the scenes here are generally not the strongest, they do feel like they belong to Twin Peaks and as such are somewhat entertaining to watch, at least once.

David Bowie's extended scene, some nice comic bits (like Bobby with Laura in the basement saying "I killed a guy for baby laxative!") and A LOT of disposable tie-ins with FWWM and TP S02, like more explanation about Good Cop staying in the lodge while Bad Coop is out crazy to brush his teeth and break his head into a mirror. Either way, this is very watchable but also not very essential, working more like an essay or collage by the filmmaker while diving into his own TP material.

Meu, deveriam ter deixado todas as cenas do Phillip Jeffries no longa...

These scenes could've made FWWM better, a behemoth of an exploration of Laura Palmer, especially the alternate take of Philip Jeffries, and the Chris Isaak fight scene
