watchable

In that category of so bad it is almost good... Denis Leary and Sandra Bullock look so young. But the whole thing is ridiculous. And generally bad. I think The Ref, also with Denis Leary, was a much better execution of a similar movie.

Shoulda / coulda been better, but there was simply not enough chemistry between the stars.

Some okay Leary gags in there, but it's mushy. And mushy is bad.

Every single scene the director took either Denis or Sandra aside and told them to go even thicker with the accent. Mind you, they were laying the accents on thick to begin with, but every scene they were instructed it wasn't thick enough. Yaphet Kotto is great though. Baby Jonathan Tucker appearance.

I'm pretty sure I remember "Alan Smithee" listed as the director when I saw this...which says it all, doesn't it?
