Two Men and a Wardrobe

Good cinematography, but the symbolism is very sledgehammer, and it's all over the place. Quite obviously a student film, and only a mediocre one.

Some nice camera work, yet needlessly brutal in its thematic depiction. And Polanski hits like a little girl.

Enjoyable short, although a few parts didn't sit well with me and it goes a little long.

Bleargh. Like with other early shorts by filmmakers who later became famous (e.g. _The Big Shave_), you'd had to have been psychic to know in 1958 that Polanski would one day be hailed as one of the best directors in the world

What a fucking awkward sound mixing.

two men pop out of the ocean with their wardrobe to explore the world before them, but it is a harsh world, and before too long they crawl back into the lonely, watery expanse, dejected. excellent photography, shabby editing, definitely my favourite early polanski short to date.

Didn't care for the cat killing, and the young Polanski (as himself) beating someone up did not look convincing. Impressive cinematography though.
