Edward Robinson carries the whole show wonderfully

Robinson has one of my favourite faces. Felt like I built this one up too much in my head. But still a very dark movie. Good stuff

Despite the tale of mental breakdown lacking finesse, the film works on all levels. Robinson is at the centre of everything, but it's the snappy dialogue and the grim portrayal of human relationship regarding money that makes Two Seconds more than worth seeing.

Edward G. Robinson is amazing! Here he's a decent guy and we follow his decline into madness over some dame that fools him. Preston Foster as his good pal keeps puts on a good performance too as the guy trying to talk sense into him. Sadly the gal, played by Vivienne Osborne, got her tricks and sends Robinson into ruins. The crazy speech at the end was just incredible to watch. A lesser known film thats really makes an impression.
