When two halves of a thousand-dollar bill are discovered in the snow, the penniless pair that individually grabs each half must come to terms. This is a lively screwball comedy, where two strangers meet over a ripped $1,000 bill, but it lacks a little in the funny department. The two are are Joel McCrea & Joan Bennett, but they don't know how to spend it nor where it came from and that's where it gets complicated. There is a lot going on with horses, stage plays, police and people that are owed money. So never dull, but it lacks a glimmer in the eye.
