Four angels try to save the people of earth from another of God's vengeful floods by choosing a typical human to show that there are still good people on earth. The typical man is Jack Melon (played by John Travolta), who holds up a bank, but the teller Debbie Wylder (played by Olivia Newton-John) secretly takes the money herself. Jack finds Debbie to get the money back, but things go awry, and become more complicated when the devil gets involved as well.

Watched solely bc she's stunning, ONJ's looks are the only thing that got me through this. This has only 1 good idea (a bank teller swindles the robber) & the rest is dopey. Everything feels contrived as if the filmmaker was told "Write something that will have roles for these 6 actors" & did a sloppy job of it (Debbie inexplicably flirts w/ her robber & then is inexplicably terrified of him.) A carriage ride midway through hints at a love story w/ real characters, but it's nowhere near enough
