U.F.O. ABDUCTION

It does a good job building tension and showing the family dynamic. But unfortunately does suffer from some very stiff acting. Very good for a low budget found footage film though!

I can appreciate the fact that it's (to my knowledge?) the first found footage movie. It's low budget and that's fine, but actually seeing the aliens makes it less scary as they look very comical. There are some tense moments but mostly just a lot of talking, walking, darkness, bad acting... a lot of wtf at how characters react at things and what kind of stupid decisions they make. A curiosity, but a boring one.

This small low-budget movie was done a full decade before The Blair Witch Project. That in itself is worth some praise. Although the acting is not the best and the aliens are almost cute, it's still a nice little film.

If not for the historical significance it's lucky enough to have- being one of the first found footage films ever made- I doubt this would have much of a reputation at all. It's incredibly boring, not very well acted or written, the aliens look as painfully cliche as can be, & none of the characters are likeable. The audio is terrible & so is most of the camerawork, even if part of that is by design. I'm a big found footage fan, but this annoyed the hell out of me for almost all 63 minutes.

As my quip or whatever name has... Why the hell this exists? It does not happen anything during all movie except for thev--occasional-- "have you seen that?"
