Umma

The scares were lame and the story was a little heavy-handed and very basic. The characters especially the daughter were inconsistent and the ending was a bit of a letdown.

“Umma” is a disappointment. While it has some interesting elements, the poor execution of the writing and direction make it difficult to engage with. The wooden performances and over-reliance on its dark style result in a lack of genuine emotional connection.

Umma's story is mysterious and actually interesting but the script is below average. Also, I didn't like the ending too much, I think it could have been more striking.
