Uncaged

Where similar efforts like Streets & Angel succeeded, this movie fails spectacularly. It wants to be a gritty drama/thriller that details the hard day-to-day of sex workers while also humanizing them, but it spends too much time on Jeffrey Dean Morgan's groan-inducing villain character & not nearly enough on anybody else- especially heroine Micki. With a better script, this could've worked- the cast do a decent job & the premise isn't bad. As it is, though, this is nothing special.
