Brakhage described Unconscious London Strata as a "reconstruction of the mind's eye at the borders of the unconscious," writing that "some visual song of all of England's history began to move through this material," creating, then, a musical metaphor of mind, as memory manifested on film as "rounds within rounds." Supposed to be "a reconstruction of the mind's eye", but I dunno... not everything in my mind's eye is blurry as fuck. But I did like this assortment of out-of-focus abstraction, even if the film as a whole is a bit too long.
