Unfinished Business

This was something more than the average screwball comedy. Unfinished Business (1941) always had a uncertainness. A sober tone. Even the funny butler had something hard hitting about him. While you had the usual charming choices for a rom-com, they're not as pure as the more clownish caricatures we see in such movies of this age. The characters keeps one guessing and that's the secret to this little gem. All that sort of bubbles beneath the surface, so just be aware to make it awarding viewing.
