Uninvited

The Uninvited has some great acting by the lead actress (Ji-hyun Jun ) and its integration of the puzzle pieces from the start is cleverly done. However, it doesn't seem to firmly decide what it wants to be until the last 40 minutes or so due to very slow pacing. Nonetheless, the cycle of misery that plagues the protagonists makes for some interesting insight into the way we deal with relationships. Overall, the promise was there and it did deliver but the delivery was a little lacking.

More of a psychological drama than a horror film until the film's finale. Good acting all around but the pace is so slow it's hard not to get a bit bored.

Not really a horror movie; more like a drama about guilt with supernatural elements. It still has a very eerie, powerful atmosphere and some truly disturbing scenes. It would be interesting to see other works by this director, who I feel might be better suited for dramas or suspense films. It's a VERY depressing film and therefore not for everyone. Biggest complaint is the length which is a bit too much with such a slow pace.
