Untamed Heart

A movie with a pretty awful script that still manages to hit the right notes, thanks mostly to Marisa Tomei's angelic presence.

Cool because it was shot in the neighborhood near where I lived, but otherwise a fair rom-com.

Something about this movie is compelling. Morisa Tomei is HOT, and Christian Slater gives a great performance.

Kind of a dumb story and some really cliche writing but Tomei did a hell of a job with it

Pretty weak romance film but what makes it tolerable is Marisa Tomei who is hot as hell and didn't do nearly enough starring roles. Slater's role was pretty amusing though. The ending is all predictable stuff.

It's simple and sometimes silly, but Marisa Tomei's charm is overwhelming and the chemistry between her and Christian Slater is quite good.

Two great actors in Tomei & Slater giving really good performances can't begin to save this ridiculous dumpster fire masquerading as romance. The level of ineptitude here is shocking. I really wanted to like it, but between the "being a creep & a stalker is okay as long as you have a tragic backstory" moral theme & Tomei's character being written with all the intelligence of a peanut I just can't. Even if read as the self-parody it often resembles, it's still a poorly written mess. Disappointed.

Not bad.

An obnoxious and ludicrous tearjerker drowning in sentimentality but ultimately being a cheap gimmick. The title should have stayed "Baboon Heart."
