A lesser known (to me) little film Which isn't bad It actually has a story and a who done it plot ? Grown folks rather then teens and even though the audience finds out who's doing the killings .....You just know the killer did get away without getting caught

Finally the leap to the big screen for Buffy and Angel alum Boreanaz. Oh. And we never saw him again.

Slightly substandard horror fare. It's got the formula down, but I just didn't care at all. I've seen more character development in porno.

I'd rather watch Scream of I Know What You Did Last Summer.

A very poor teen slasher film. And this coming from a fan of the genre.

Flat and boring. Is this supposed to be genera bending because instead of killing teens it's twenty somethings? Well, here's the skinny, it's not scary, gross or sexy, nor well acted, interesting or exciting. I can neither identify with the killer or the victims, i can however, watch the rote directing pans and pretend to wonder what happens next. A great movie to take a date to if you're planning on making out since the screen will provide little distraction, after all it is called valentine.

After Scream reinvented the slasher genre with its tongue firmly planted in its cheek, the inevitable wave of copies - predicted by Scream itself - followed. These neo-slasher films gradually declined in overall quality, whilst growing progressively more ridiculous, climaxing with the pungent pile of cinematic feces that is Valentine. It brings absolutely nothing to a genre which had already become so vapid that shaming it is an almost impossible task at which Valentine succeeds. Avoid!

Supposedly based on the book, but the two have little in common

And here i thought becoming this successful, super hot alpha male was enough to get revenge at the girls who rejected me back in school. Well, seems i got stuff to do.

A great proposal, but underutilized. The book is more macabre.

I feel sorrier for the people who made this than I do for myself after watching it.

Fairly decent horror flick of the slasher/suspence sub-genre. Quite a few young actors who go on to make many more movies.

The writing is terrible in this film. Most of the characters are unlikable so there is not much to root for in this movie. The actors try their best with the weak material. Overall this movie is bad.

It's a typical Scream clone that follows the slasher formula shamelessly & offers little originality, falling into all the same pitfalls as other similar movies- but, somehow, it isn't horrible. The performances are fine for what they are, the deaths are mostly interesting, there are a few unexpected moments of cleverness, & there's definitely a self-aware edge to the whole thing that, while not especially well-done, is enjoyable. That said, most of the characters are bleh & the ending is, too.

This picture is a very avarage jump-scare horror where young, attractive women get killed one by one. None of them are really interesting characters. Fortunately we have 3 semi-interesting male characters who serve as our potential murderers. The picture keeps you guessing about which one of them is the real killer and that's what saves the movie from being a complete disaster. I guess if you really want to see cheap horror, you can watch this, but avoid it otherwise.

Run of the mill modern slasher made after Scream made it okay to release slashers again but before it was acceptable to make them in the 80's style filtered through 90's cynicism. Richards is good at playing a sexy bitch, and two death scenes are mildly creative. The rest is a generic wash.
