The Viking children Røskva and Tjalfe embark on an adventurous journey from Midgard to Valhalla with the gods Thor and Loki. This felt like watching filmed theater from a viking market. To be fair, if it had been filmed theater from a viking market, I would have been very impressed. As it was, I was just confused as to why so many of the actors were talking like Christian Bales Batman. Basically this takes one of the most iconic, beloved Danish comics and sucks all the life, soul and above all fun out of it, replacing it with an overly dramatic and cliched plot. Avoid.
