Valley Girl

Jessica Rothe elevates this over the original. The music format fit but they couldn't sing. Logan Paul doesn't need acting to be a douche. Side characters didn't get as much time. Camera loved background nonspeaking characters as though they're people I should know. Not sure if I like the constant '80s winks or dramatic irony. Didn't really act '80s. Diverse in nonessential roles; would have been a better/braver remake to have her date a minority. Fav scene: We Got the Beat homage to Fast Times.
