A dirty and gritty Finnish thriller about weapon smuggling during the days of Czar occupied Finland! This is such a expressive film! Taking influences from just about everywhere. Especially silent film and German expressionism. So many exceptional shots! Other times rather primitive. I guess that's the artist in him. The narrative is a bit messy, but there is always is a dark tone to this. The times it did capture something filthy wonderful it was like the impression was branded on you!
