Varthamanakalam

Arundhathi Menon (Urvashi) gets pimped by a family friend Brahmadattan (Jayaram), to procure a job for himself. Arundhathi's father kills himself in humiliation & she ends up at a whorehouse. Later, she meets James (Balachandra Menon) & becomes his girlfriend, but loses him to a weak heart. A pregnant Arundhathi is raped by James's friends George (Lalu Alex) & gang, causing a miscarriage, after which she returns to her hometown.
