Torsten and Sven are in love with Inger, who prefers Sven. Due to jealousy, Torsten destroys the radio system aboard the fishing boat as Sven will release the following morning. During the fishing season it blows up, but as the radio is not working, the crew does not know anything about the danger.

Lau Lauritzen & Alice O'Fredericks remake their own Danish drama Blaavand melder Storm (1938) for the Swedish market. Pretty much of the same lacking quality, but watching the original among the other terrible crap they made in Denmark in the 1930s, the Danish version felt more refreshing with it's serious tone. I did like that corny old funny man. Made me laugh a few times. That, and the apple tree argument. The drama barely hits.
