Viking Destiny

Shitty low budget viking flick about a princess regaining her lost kingdom. The script and lighting are terrible, the sets and costumes are cheap and crappy, the acting is universally hammy and the fight choreography is weak....it reminded me of a bad episode of Xena: Warrior Princess. It's not good enough to be entertaining, but not bad enough to be cheesy fun, either. It's all just kinda there, and it sucks. Why Terence Stamp is slumming it in garbage like this, I have no idea.

When you press play on a film named "Viking Destiny", you know what you're in for, and my expectations were completely fulfilled—but the lead looked badass in her terribly anachronistic lipstick, some of the fight choreography was actually entertaining, there were a few lovely shots, and the filmmakers didn't stretch viewers' patience with awful CG. So as far as movies with "Viking" in the title go, this one wasn't bad.

You must do a really big effort to see the end of that one.
