Voice from the Stone

The film is well acted, directed, and photographed but it also kept me arm arms length and as such I was never really emotionally invested and even found myself a bit bored at times. At times the movie played out like a horror film but its really a drama with uneven tonal shifts. I enjoyed the movie well enough but I also felt that this should've been much better. I think Emily Clarke is a pretty decent actress but I just don't like her face.

All the ingredients were here but something was missing. It looked (visually) great though.
