An absolute trainwreck of a movie. The beginning is somewhat interesting, but it degrades into an abysmal drama of high-school theater level. I have rarely watched a movie with so many "what?"s per minute.

There were some incredibly dumb moments, specifically when the bad guy convinced people that he killed Richard because the alien was inside him. I mean, the evidence that that is not true was right there. Anyway, I was still entertained because despite the stupidity here and there there were some tense moments. This could have been written and acted so much better, but for what it is, it's harmless and mildly amusing sci-fi that rips off better properties.

Did they not learn about psychology, sociology, etc. in their education? They were old enough/smart enough to spot the manipulation a mile away. The philosophical conflict could have been interesting if the Lord of the Flies nonsense was replaced with competing sides that were both reasonable, practical, and morally grey (or better). The main drama should have come from the love triangle/personal conflict, not the philosophical conflict. All points for the actors. The production was good too.

Intriguing start with decent main cast. Then it becomes Lord of the Flies in space with most of the characters being idiots. Sheridan’s character could’ve prevented most of that by being more vocal. “You haven’t been doing your job and getting food” to which the counter argument is “Everyone join me and you will have food”…

A promising set-up: young folk, sent aboard a generation starship, discover that their sexual impulses are being artificially dampened. Unfortunately, the writing deteriorates as things play out in a highly familiar, unconvincing way. Although the youngsters do run wild, they seem unable to figure out that clothing is in fact removable. Still in 2021 writers seem unable to stop themselves from stealing Obama’s “that’s not who we are” line. A far weaker ending than either ANIARA or DON'T LOOK UP.

Damn. I was rooting for this film. It starts off very well, with a novel and interesting premise. The crisp cinematography and unique direction made the first half so promising. But then at the midway point, the writing takes an irredeemably wrong turn into obnoxious pedestrianism. From there it spirals out of control and grows exponentially worse with every remaining minute. This could have been great. The budget was sure there. Instead it stoops to dumb teen melodrama. What a shame.

LORD OF THE FLIES.....IN SPACE There's a lot of inspiration that I sensed from this film. Drugged into complacency reminds me of Equilibrium or Fahrenheit 451. The space travel to find a planet that can sustain life for the future of the human race is sci-fi 101, and the whole 100% kids population facing against each other is clearly Lord of the Flies....and even though it's a mixture of stories we've seen before, the way they're melded together works amazingly and I had a lot of fun with it

A very predictable movie that doesn't do anything terrible, but doesn't leave you with any form of satisfaction. The acting was pretty solid for the most part. Great movie for a casual viewing on a Sunday afternoon. This film is Lord of the Flies meets Among Us with some elements of Alien.

Voyagers is ridiculously dumb on many levels, it's kind of embarrassing at points. It's attempt at a bait & switch was pretty disappointing, and is more annoying than clever. It also lends itself to some pretty cliche tropes for similar movies of this type. Nothing here is surprising, but it's fine enough that I don't hate it. Sheridan/Depp do their thing, and I was entertained, but it ultimately just boils down to a predictable erotica for teens. I don't know why I had expectations.

"Lord of the Flies in Space" is such a golden concept that I'm baffled it took this long for someone to do it. Seriously, how did we go through the past four decades without Hollywood trying this? How? Anyway, I had fun with this but the giant laundry list of plot holes & complete lack of development for all but two characters (even then it's minimal) bothered me. The idea is fascinating & all said the execution was better than it could have been, but it also plays out just like you think.

Let's genetically engineer 30 kids and send them into space to save humanity. What? No, it totally didn't occur to us to have a larger group of children and then test for the best possible candidates and not send the manipulative sociopaths. What could go wrong?

Could have lent on the universal recurrence of the fear induced witch-hunt and then they might have had something interesting, because without it, this is just another typically bland YA sci-fi flick.

A space version of Lord of the Flies, kind of. Well made space sci-fi action thriller.

While I've never really been much of a fan of this teenagers save humanity branch of sci-fi, it is a little satisfying to see teenagers fucking it up. Satisfying like a car wreck you said was going to happen before the driver cranked the ignition.

Maybe more nihilistic than I would have liked, but Sheridan's typically strong performance kept me watching, if only to know what happened to his character.

Lord of the Flies in space. But it doesn't have the excuse Golding's original had; his kids were young innocents. These are near-adults who we are all expected to believe are this stupid. Except the rebel leader, who has very conveniently slicked back hair to make sure you know he's evil, and somehow he's been bred with all the knowledge of how to be a facist. Then (spoiler) there happen to be weapons on board. Why?? And they instantly know how to use them. All rather convenient.

Dünyanın son günleri. 1 grup bilim adamı, özel insanlardan oluşan çocukları 1 uzay gemisinde yeni 1 ütopyaya gönderirler. Tam 80 yıl sonra yeni dünyalarını keşfedecektir. Onlara 1 bilim adamı yardımcı olacaktır. Fakat, gençlerin duyguları coşup, iyi ve kötüyü hissedecektir. Alien filminin, insani versiyonu. Uzay gemisinde geçen film, genç oyuncuların performansıyla sürükleyici izletiyor. Neil Burger'in en iyi filmi. Filmin sonunda, yeni dünyaya uzaktan bakış. Yürü arkanda ben varım

It's Lord of the Flies in space. That's about all you need to know. It's okay, nothing special.
