Waikiki Wedding

A really cute little gem! Nice songs, including Blue Hawaii and Sweet Leilani, which won the Academy Award for Best Song. Bing is in fine form here, as is Martha Raye. Shirley Ross shines as the love interest. No, the plot is nothing special - think typical Elvis in Hawaii film - but it plays out nicely with some lovely visuals.

A generic 30's romance with not much to offer.

A wacky Waikiki affair with Bing Crosby & Martha Raye! As corny as it sounds and they have a lot of fun with it! Raye was even more on form then usual with plenty of sillystitious stuff! And as a added sidekick for Raye they have the pig loving Bob Burns, while Crosby gets Shirley Ross to play with. Bing also sings a few numbers, including the Oscar winning 'Sweet Leilani' and the 1930s version of 'Blue Hawaii'. This will liven you up.
