Walt Before Mickey

The story of Walk Disney before he hit it big with Mickey Mouse. Basically a the quality of a TV movie and without the Disney magic. But in a way, that era for Disney lacked that magic anyway. Becomes too much like a shout-out to all the pioneer animators that got their start in the 1920s.... and little else.

Seems like a film pretty much devoid of talented acting and a decent script from a first-time director and producer. Watching this wasn't the worst way to spend an evening (if sex is an alternative, take it!) but this isn't a movie that I will remember or would heartily recommend to others.

Very obviously low budget and amateurish. The biggest problem with this movie is its script, which uses way too many cliche feel-good phrases that people don't ever say in real life. I was half expecting the Mintz/Winkler family to be twirling moustaches.
