Warrior Queen

The best part of the film is its poster. It perfectly encapsulates the secret guilty pleasure desires of an audience - truthfully never satisfied by any B movie that ever existed - in a classic 80s style of sword and sorcery drawing. The film has a single scene worthy to be called quality B movie indulgence, while the rest drags on and on in a boring, too serious fashion for it not to be fast forwarded through in the hopes of finding another gratifying element of the film. But there isn't one.

It's almost embarrassing that Donald wasn't stock footage

As walkearth notes, the title and poster is misleading in the extreme. There's a lot of cool plotlines following an emboldened, errant female warrior (actually mistress of the Emperor) that they could have gone with, but the titular queen barely constitutes a protag. In the end, flick holds back on its exploitative intentions just enough to become a plodding, tawdry sword-and-sandals flick. Curiously involved production and impressive amount of extras, but little entertainment to speak of.
