Watching the Detectives

It's hard to rate this because Murphy was good, the writing and direction were good, but the entire movie is caused by the antics of an insane and unlikable character who our protagonist falls for. It is memorable for an off beat romcom.

Even though this isn't great, I Soter liked it.

I am so glad the Manic Pixie Dream Girl era is long gone. Couldn't Jason Sudekis have spent five minutes teaching Cillian Murphy how to shoot a basketball??

This is cinematic bliss taken to the max. Loved it.

The PSI was 49 on this, which is bizarre. I feel like most viewers were probably too basic to appreciate it.

Fun, Happy, Unexpected.

Good concept not delivered on as solidly as could have been. Sort of like a Live Life in the moment version of High Fidelity, not as good though.
