Zach Galligan reminds me of the guy from Gremlins, but everybody knows that guy only ever did the Gremlins movies and nothing else. JooJoo is right about The Haunting being the highlight but I thought it actually took a dip when it introduced Campbell and went hammy. When it finally goes full ham, it's right back to being the best segment. I bet this was fun to make even though I bet David Carradine demanded Evil Toons money for his part.

I had a big writeup ready for this but the out of nowhere rap video end credits consumed me. This clips along at an amazing pace for a time , there’s wild cartoony gore then the movie forgets it was just jumping between just different enough to not get sued film imitations and gets stuck in boring medieval England for way too long oh my god that rap video ending.

The Haunting spoof is the highlight (thanks in no small part to man-god Bruce Campbell).

The medieval segment really drags, but its mere presence - alongside Bruce Campbell - a year before Army of Darkness adds to the weird Evil Dead tribute band vibe.

Probably the second best movie to feature an animated severed hand and Bruce Campbell, but unfortunately not at the same time.

This flick is beyond stupid. It picks up right where the original left off, and features the protagonists travelling around in time for the whole movie, basically jumping in and out of different movie spoofs along the way. None of these come off as clever, and many of them go on for WAYY too long. The explanation about "God's Nintendo" was unbelievably lame. Only worth seeing for Bruce Campbell's cameo. Stick to the original.

It started out silly but fun, even if having nothing to do with the original one. It had funny spoofs there and there, and Bruce Campbell's cameo was good. But the medieval time part was waaay too long and boring so it sorted of ended badly

Surprisingly not as terrible as you would think, certainly not a good film by any means, but everyone seems to be having fun, there are definitely worse things you could watch.

The first one was on the verge of being awesome, and this one ended up lukewarm. The plot here begs the viewer to cringe, apparently attempting to put the wacky sentiment on overdrive, but it very nearly crashes and burns instead.

The various horror film scenarios they wander in and out of feel like especially dark comedy sketches. It's faithful to the horror genre, at least in style, but it never pretends it's scary. There's plenty of flaws, most of which probably stem from a small budget, but it's a fun movie that's still a late night favorite of mine.

A bit amateurish in spots but a very fun movie

I preferred the first Waxwork to this one, but it was still fun to see where they would end up!

Good cheesy fun. It's a little light on the horror, and more of a horror/fantasy spoof, but it is charming and silly. Don't forget to stay for the credits rap. Well, maybe not.

Is it great? No. Does it borrow a bit too much from other works in the name of paying homage? Maybe. Is it a hell of a lot of fun despite that? Yes. With solid performances from Galligan (who's much better this time) & Schnarre, it also leans more into comedy & does a solid job- even if some bits don't land. The expanded lore is genuinely pretty cool & the medieval stuff in the last half is a treat. Plus, Bruce Campbell shows up. This is better than it has any right to be, & is worth a watch.
