Good action but it seemed very low budget.

Excellent political thriller which gradually builds steam as it progresses, leading to a surprisingly gripping finale. Huston's sardonic handling of the material is a definite asset, and he elicits terrific performances from both Garfield and Jones (though Jones is never convincing as a Cuban) - and Armendariz, who steals the film as the sinister head of the secret police.

DVDRip Oldies.

The Cuban Revolution before the Cuban Revolution starring John Garfield & Jennifer Jones, but for me it was Pedro Armendáriz manic performance that won me over. The film overall struggled to appeal, but it looked dark and lovely.
