A few laughs but feels like an extended sitcom.

Cute movie, but cute doesn't cut it.

Saw it on a plane. God was it awful.

Extremely light, thin comedy is pitched roughly at the level of a good episode of EVERYBODY LOVES RAYMOND -- but is quite enjoyable on this basis, even if the stellar cast is given little to do, and Romano's schlumpy every-man character doesn't really have the substance to be a convincing cinematic leading man. Hackman expectedly brings life to proceedings, though it is a somewhat dispiriting footnote to add that this may ultimately be his cinematic swan-song.

Before you take a trip to Mooseport, make sure you expect little save for an sparsely amusing situational comedy that mistakenly was made into a major motion picture release.

Ray Romano should probably stick to Everybody Loves Raymond.

this movie literally killed gene hackman's desire to act. gene hackman retired from acting after this movie and nobody noticed.

If it hadn't been shot in my home town, I'm afraid the rating would be even lower...

Perhaps not the best job they could have done with this, but Gene Hackman makes you think that a former President could behave this way. It was good enough to watch again someday.

Everybody loves Raymond. And really, who DOESN'T love Gene Hackman? A little...outlandish (especially considering Maura Tierney's interest in Hackman...) but not at all bothersome. A truly funny little comedy.

Hollow, pointless and unfunny. Like a poor sitcom spread over 106 minutes. A waste of time.

A few minor chuckles here and there but by the end of the film you feel like you've just wasted an hour and a half watching this instead of something that's not only really funny but really funny all the time. Quite poor comedy that has it's share of moments you know are intended to be funny but simply aren't and end up being simply awkward to watch.

Ray Romano tries to parlay his TV successes to the big screen and it just doesn't work. It's not the worst movie you'll ever see, but it's not worth watching unless it's randomly on TV and not really worth your full attention.

I watched this just for the hell of it and felt like I was in hell the entire time I was watching.

Well, I didn't think Ray Romano was very funny, but Gene was hilarious. It's just a cute movie with witty comedy and good acting. Also, loved the paper, rock, scissors before the debate.

I don't think I even finished watching this.

This movie will make you pass the time if you are on a plane... like I was when I saw it.

The film is very bad, and nothing funny with those stupid messages at the end.

Light, sit-com fare. Enjoyable but forgetable.
