Welcome to the Jungle

The middle 40 or so minutes could have been cut

The characters are really shitty and unlikable and maybe that was on purpose but there was nothing else to see here for most of its run time. Bad acting and lots of random scenes of the shitty actors mugging in front of the camera seemingly doing improv.

Who the fuck thinks up the idea of remaking "Cannibal Holocaust", and then making it a 15? WHO? Seriously some of the worst characters I've ever seen. The fates they suffered were nowhere near as satisfactory as they should have been. If it wasn't for the stake scene, which was actually really well done, this could have been the worst movie I've ever seen.

"As a gritty throwback to a sub-genre that doesn't get much airtime these days, I'd call Welcome to the Jungle a surprisingly effective little experiment."
