Really enjoyable musical bits based off the language of the play, a sweet romance and a fun story, it's not terribly deep or anything, but then neither was A Midsummer Night's Dream - that was a bunch of dumb kids getting lost in the woods. I think it's a disservice to compare it to Hedwig, though. They're completely different movies and I happened to hate Hedwig, so I put off seeing this a long time based on that.
