Were the World Mine

If I could give it a 150, I would. This movie is undeniably fabulous in every sense of the word, and sickeningly wonderful to consume.

Good plot, poorly executed. Could be a great and original gay musical, but it's just ok.

It's tough to be hard on this sincere and queer but frequently awkward ode to Midsummer Night's Dream and the musical tradition, so I won't be. It is one of the few American revenge movies I can actually cheer for. A curiosity, for sure, with some nice moments and worth a look.
