Touching, but I would not watch it again. Too much yelling, too angry. Of course that's the point of it all, which is cool, but just not my thing.

The first half of the movie is phenomenal but by the end it loses some traction. Still I highly recommend a watch, well worth it.

As the movie is more about how war affects those indifferent to its causes than it is the war itself, the film is elevated by its lack of core plot since this allows the narrative to explore various different ideas. This is further elevated by the chemistry between its two leads who ultimately don't understand or care why the war is happening but are nonetheless drawn into the chaos. The film is not indifferent to conflict as a whole, but is more preoccupied with the consequences than ideals.
