Firth makes it a barely watchable movie. Pretend you are a teeny-bopper and you might enjoy a moment or two of this film.

girls don't want this, boys don't want this...no one wants this.

I dread giving this p.o.s. this high a rating, but Colin Firth is sublime in everything he does!

I can see how some of the clumsy goofiness and slapstick could contribute to its value as a childhood favourite of those who were its intended audience in 2003, but as a first-time viewer outside of that bracket it held very little attraction.

Cute, happy film.

Amiable and enjoyable tweenie fantasy is better than it needs to be, thanks to an overqualified cast who never play down to the material, and some extra care taken on the finer details, including look-alikes for the British royal family who are again far more convincing than they needed to be! A little too bland and down-the-line to be memorable, and Bynes could have been advised to tone down the manic “theatre-camp” energy, more noticeable because she is surrounded by such seasoned pros.

Not good but not as annoying as most pre-teen girl movies either and, for that, this movie somewhat succeeds. Colin Firth is always good, just great to see him.

I gotta admit it. I enjoyed this movie quite a bit! Well Colin Firth helped a lot :P but it's a cute and fun movie.

I caught this back in my video store days. I put it on to pass the time and because anything with Jonathon Pryce is worth a look, right? Wrong. I forgot whatever he did in this movie, but the memory of the suck lives on.

Cute enough. Colin Firth was, of course, great. But the movie was just okay.

Annoying teenie flick. Only Colin Firth makes it somehow bearable.

It's like a poorly written shoujo manga came to life and attacked me through the tv... but that might've actually been more interesting than this movie. Why are tween girl targeted movies so weird?

Joe Dirt's maker Dennie Gordon has done better this time. Although there isn't much of story, at least the cast and musical performances were enjoyable.

This movie is stupid, yes, but the cast of talents that are probably above stuff like this save it from being the usual tween dreck.

Acting is weak, storyline is predictable, yet the film is somewhat charming.

A great comedy a great cast 10 out of 10
