When Brendan Met Trudy

Not really a production for movie maniacs, more one directly targeting the insane. McDonald soon slips into a surreal little world revolving around late night cinema and crime. Generally, it's much more uninteresting than it sounds and the majority of the first two thirds is an uneventful and unmemorable affair with few decent moments. One of the ending scenes is hysterical however, following a running theme which suddenly reaches fruition to excellent comedy effect. Seriously mediocre.
