When the ten-year-old son, David, (Blake Woodruff) of a wealthy New England socialite is abducted, his kidnapper Max Harper (Josh Holloway) and his seedy associates assume it will be a routine kidnapping in exchange for a large ransom. Soon, Max will wish that he had never kidnapped David, much less even heard of him. (imdb)

The beginning of the movie does not give much, but later on the film visits in an interesting road. The concept and environment (though fake snow) are good. The hostage is okay, but the rest of the cast not that much. More further you go, more easy following story goes, until it ends pretty stupidly. I liked a lot on ice and an aerial view of forest. Animals I did not. But worth to see. No high hopes.

Average. The theme of demonic/mysterious child hasn't been broached much and "The Omen" does leave behind pretty big shoes to fill. This film, though promising for the first 20 minutes, quickly turns into generic mildly scary fare. The plot would have been pretty scary had it been progressed with a deft subtle touch, instead a good idea is squandered away by its too obvious, "in your face" approach. Well, atleast they got the ending right but too little..too late. Not Recommended.

Pretty mediocre, but probably above average for the genre. Bit too slow, not quite evil enough. Wolves are tiresome and the characters seem too clueless to the events. SWC is about as annoying as Lori in this one. At least it ends fairly well.

Passed by this one many times and finally gave it a try. It's watchable but just doesn't quite work. Too bad with a good cast of character actors.
