The ending was a bit of a cheat. But wonderfully photographed throughout.

Really beautiful film. It does get repetitive and drag towards the end but on the whole it's worth it.

A simplistic story turned into a visual poem of beautiful images. Really worthwhile. It's true it gets repetitive and the ending is a bit of a cop-out, but the stunning cinematography is resonant and haunting.

Plays like an episode of "the Wonderful World of Disney", full of narration that tells you whats happening and what the horse feels. The music is annoying and really lowered the score for me. It starts to get boring and repetitive early on, it's episodic and full of continuity errors that hamper an otherwise simple story of a boy who first befriends and later tames the White horse.

O cinema do Lamorisse é tão belo esteticamente e simbolicamente que você se vê imersa nesse imaginário que ao término sofremos um baque de realidade. Outras razões para achar este filme uma pérola além do que é corriqueiro: considerar cavalos a minha segunda espécie favorita (perdendo para os gatos, óbvio) e aqui ele representando a liberdade da infância frente o domínio do poder adulto é de se lavar a alma.
