Nathan Fillion is the only redeeming part of this steaming pile. Sadly even Captain Tight-Pants can't save it but at least he makes it (slightly) better than the original. Fillion you deserve to be in much better stuff than this. :(

Somehow manages to be simultaneously better and worse than the original. Nathan Fillion is a badass as usual, and Katee Sackhoff isn't nearly as annoying as she is in BSG, which I didn't even think possible. Interesting ideas, but sadly it's cheap looking and poorly directed.

A series of jump scares that get old very quickly. I'm glad Nathan Fillion gets work but he can do better than this.

Relies nearly entirely on jump scares that are completely unnecessary and out of place. Nathan Fillion is great, but it's immediately clear that the rest of the film is crap, and so the quality of the film as a whole is put in a worse light, and Fillion's good acting is put in a rubbish film. Even ignoring the fact that the plot makes no sense, this is the worst kind of horror film. There are jump scares in THE OPENING SCREEN OF TEXT. Yeah. That's the kind of horror film this is. Avoid.

Top badass moment? Abe's doing the superhero thing and tying to save people from dying. That has to be badass, especially if you're not a 'real' superhero and it's only been a few days since you tried to commit suicide following the violent death of your own family. What a shame it all goes a bit pear-shaped. All in all, not a great week by anyone's standard. Still, he got a kiss from his nurse, so it's not all bad. No cats, decapitations or chainsaws.

Some interesting concepts brought up here in this flick, and the acting and effects are good as well. Just needed a bit better production /budget to make it more memorable.

The concept can be interesting, but the "investigation" part feels shallow and uninteresting, so it sorts of take away from the rest.
