Dan Duryea gets to be the sympathetic lead?! He's always the supporting sleaze, but here he is a brilliant butler, wanting to experience a little of the lifestyle of his wealthy employer while they're on away on vacation. That guarantees trouble. And the trouble comes in the form of Ella Raines. And less heavenly from William Bendix. And this was a pleasing scenario. Convenient, but I was fascinated by Duryea's character. Raines naturally gave this its elegance. I liked this.
