Jackie Chan's last great movie. The rooftop fight is a must-see. When I first heard the title of this film, I immediately imagined Jackie standing on a hilltop holding his arms in the air and screaming "Who Am I?" in slow motion as a crane mounted camera spins above him. Then it happened in the movie exactly like that. Sweet.

A few spectacular stunts and fight scenes don't save it from a messy script. Why not just leave the script out of it? It really just serves as filler anyways and shouldn't detract from a good HK action film.

That rooftop fight scene at the end of the movie makes the rest of it worth watching.

This is a really fun movie, and probably just at the point before Jackie was getting too old to be spectacular. The rooftop fight with the guy with the legs... the guy with the legs!

An awesome fight scene on the roof of a skyscraper highlights this decent Jackie Chan film.

Certainly a case where the seams between the two co-directors are clearly visible - Benny was presumably largely in charge of the dialogue and plot scenes which are unfortunately almost comically amateurish; it's when the action kicks in and Jackie is left to do his thing that this becomes enjoyable - and all is almost forgiven for the stunning climactic fight, where Jackie meets his match twofold! An inessential Chan, but if you're a fan, well worth checking out.

what an awesome movie. came at a great time in chan's career, allowing him to write, direct, and choreograph all on a rather large budget and really start to push the stunts while he was still physically up to it. some gleefully silly moments, i don't know how anyone who likes action movies can not smile at some of this stuff.

Probably the last kickass 80's style Jackie movie and he abandons it with style with the glass front sliding Harold Lloyd stunt and a couple of awesome rooftop fights.

The first half of this movie is an utter bore and much of the African-shot stuff borders on racism to Western sensibilities (although I don't believe that was ever the intent). It redeems itself towards the end with some truly great action pieces, but it's not Chan's finest work.

lacks stand out setpieces (though the climactic fight is very, very good) the story and mcguffin are bad, the english speaking actors are even worse, and it's WAY. TOO. LONG. not a lot of chan's slapstick gags, though i think that's best for this movie and it would have been worse and aged badly with those gags in there. just lookup the final rooftop fight on YouTube and call it a day.

The dubbing is comically bad, and the film is slow to get going, but once Jackie Chan is doing his incredibly agile thing, it's unceasingly entertaining. Fun choreography, a superb car chase, a silly plot—what's not to like?

Who am I? has one of Chan's greatest action sequences, and I recommend Who Am I? for it alone.

The CIA has planned to attack a base deep in the interior of Africa with a group of specially trained commandos. There, criminal top men are working in secret on the development of new terrorist weapons. The attack is a great success, yet the team does not return from the mission. The CIA has no leads, but the indigenous population does. They have found a badly wounded soldier in the jungles who they have been nursing for months now.

Watched the uncut version of the film which is about 20 minutes longer and more serious than the international version...

It is more like two movies put in a blender. One should not have been made, and the other is a generic action movie, of a somewhat higher calibre, due to the action choreography and stuntwork etc. Kind of amazing and confusing South African part, where Jackie spends much of the time in the traditional clothing of a tribal group that adopts him. What I dislike is when Chan gets cheesy and silly.

Beautifully shot with outstanding special effects and a great leading performance by Naomi Watts, but it's too long and Jack Black is out of place.

A fun film only marred by the utterly incompetent (but nonetheless cute) acting of CNN reporter Michelle Ferre.

It's a shame the great locations and stunt work weren't filmed or directed better, this could have been a stellar action movie instead of simply a mediocre one.
