I was a dumbass and totally missed the VJ Emmie audiotrack, but instead of kicking myself for that oversight I'll just pretend I've chosen to watch this as a snob in its most pure form, the way the author intended. ANYHOO, objectively it's all terrible, but considering the context this was made in it becomes kinda charming instead. The "Russian" dude's ammo belt of wooden stakes; perfection. This kind of pure, lowest-of-budgets filmmaking with ambition behind it just warms my cold, dead heart.

In Kampala slum where everyone knows kungfu only capt Alex, Uganda's top soldier dares challenge the deadly Tiger Mafia & their notorious boss Richard. Dinosaurs. After his death under mysterious circumstances his Shaolin-trained bro teams up with Richard's wife to reap vengeance. Things escalate to an epic showdown of helicopters & machineguns that fails to answer the title question but makes clear this is the craziest most badass DIY film made in a slum with no budget. Expect the unexpectable!

It's hard to rate this because there is no technical aspect of it that is good. I witnessed a prop gun made of a couple pieces of metal welded together and a guy wearing a belt of ammunition that was clearly a bunch of sharpened sticks--it's on the cover of the movie for god's sake. But what sets this one apart from other terrible movies is that it was made by and for people with a great deal of love for action movies, the enthusiasm is so evident that it inevitably spreads to the audience.

It's objectively terrible in every sense of the word but holy shit a good time was had. In its conditions and budget, passion was the key that made this film what it is today; a genuine action film with never a dull moment. I want VJ Emmie to narrate my obit

Apparently made for a budget of under $100, Uganda's first action movie, riotously narrated is hilarious. I watched this on my own, and a great time was had by all. If it's not already, this will be designated a cult classic before too long.

Definitely not the best movie ever made, but it has lots of charm and some really amazing special effects. Love the crafted props, it's silly, funny and pretty detailed. Shame I didn't see it with the narration, hopefully another time. And goddamn that fucking helicopter!!

The fact that this was made in Uganda is definitely laudable. But as a film it's a mostly boring, uninspired tribute to foreign action movies, the highlight being the ridiculous CGI and overall cheapness of the production. The most interesting thing about it though is the Video Joker, randomly crossing the line between narrator, hype man and troll parodying the film itself. It's quite an unconventional viewing experience and I'm still unsure as to how much of it is serious and how much is not.

Compliments to the people behind this film, who turned a low budget into something extremely entertaining through being impassioned. The insane VJ who provides a running commentary is the highlight, but the action scenes stand out as very impressive feats given the limitations. Couldn't follow the story that well, but I also didn't care.

A pure, genuine and earnest celebration of 80s action cinema. Not a so bad it's good move, but a so good it's good movie. Reminiscent of early era YouTube action shorts from filmmakers like Freddie Wong (RocketJump).

VJ Emmie version. Good for what it was. Crazy action sequences. Everyone knows kung fu. Please make more low budget action films with CGI? helicopters. Fav scene: helicopter.
