Wife, Husband and Friend

Started out as what looked to be a real cheesy marriage comedy, and I guess it still was, but by the turning the tide made it more interesting then expected in a story where Warner Baxter tries to stop wife Loretta Young's singing ambitions. I only wish they'd made more out of the 'Friend' part of the title. There was lots of potential for tension which they didn't fully realize with Binnie Barnes' interference. Perhaps they were scared it would get too serious adding more jealousy to the mix.
