With such quality players as Henry Fonda, Joan Bennett & Warren William Wild Geese Calling (1941) is a pleasant view, but it's also so very routine. Not enough of their personality has time to properly mash with their life changes, and therefore the emotional connection with this piece is limited compared to it's potential.
