Represents a kind of idealized, soda-pop-and-fizz Americana that makes David Lynch smile in his dreams: every girl can dance the Mashed Potato and every guy can do a mean Bobby Bare impression if you give him a guitar. Cash Flagg steals every scene he is in, to distraction. A real gem.

Not good. The story is sketchy, and ends ridiculously (he gives the slimy promoter a second chance?). The acting is bad, from the not-menacing Cash "he's the director" Flagg to Nancy Czar, who you wonder why she's in the picture. Sure, she's nice-looking, but she gives a bad performance. Until, halfway through, you realize she's not an actor, she's a skater. Arch Hall, jr sure had a damn healthy head of hair, though.
