Wild Horses

Wild Horses (2015) is a failed attempt directed, written and starring the great Robert Duvall. I guess making this was the only way to get his 41 year younger wife a acting gig.

My endearing love for Robert Duvall was somewhat tested with this role as he plays an outdated hard case who is nearly incapable of expressing himself. James Franco was also stunted by his role. Luciana Pedraza was not a particularly good choice for her role. One great father and son bonding scene. Overall the story wasn't particularly interesting, in fact it sends a very poor message about aging and coming to terms with past mistakes. A couple of good supporting cast scenes. Mostly unmemorable.

Didn't finish this one. It didn't really make sense and then I couldn't pay proper attention to it anymore and it made even less sense. No thanks.
