Wild Rovers

Takes the bleakness of 70’s American film and places it where so much of American cinema grew and was exploding yet again before the entire genre got completely “revised”. Shame it was cut to pieces by the studio. But what remains even the upbeat nature of the ending was still satisfying

Early 70s effort which was, or would become, typical of the decade with its loose narrative and leisurely pacing. To cite 'Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid' as an inspiration would be doing this (*cough* knockoff) a favor. It's not a bad one, though - just nothing special, either.

Ano de centenário de William Holden filme #9. Tem alguns momentos memoráveis (a doma do cavalo, o jogo de poker que acaba mal) e fui super influenciado por Peckinpah, mas como um tôdo falta aquela coisa pra chamar de grande.
