Top badass moment? A salient reminder that however marginalised and restrictive an individual's lifestyle is, they can still be mind-numbingly boring. This movie - it starts, it’s slow, it's depressing and nothing much happens. We get some flashbacks and character history, but it’s all pretty gloomy stuff. However worthy and well made they are, dramas about dull people trapped by circumstance and with no viable plan to escape, often struggle to entertain. No cats, chainsaws or decapitations.
