Eddie and his sidekicks have been called in to help get a new telegraph line through. Dawson and his men along with his stooge Judge are out to stop them. When Eddie and the boys catch three of Dawson's men destroying telegraph equipment, the Judge releases them and this leads to the showdown between the two sides.

Singing cowboy Eddie Dean in color again. The Cinecolor didn't help this as much, as the film was too much on the slow side. It wasn't until that long saloon fight toward the end things got fun. Also the last chance to catch veteran actor Warner Richmond before he retired from the screen. He had a very recognizable face, with a career dating back to the silent days, but he hadn't done anything remarkable in years.
