Willie D. teaches us that being a pimp ain't all slappin' hos, but also includes daily activities such as climbin' a shitload of chain-link fences while runnin' from the Man, leavin' a slightly metrosexual Latino naked in the Bronx, and overchargin' your bitches for $6 wigs.

This Blaxploitation about the lives of a pimp tries to have its cake and eat it too by combining a crime doesn't pay plot while also still sympathizing or even glorifying the pimp life. Some see this as a satire on either the Blaxploitation genre itself or American capitalist society as a whole, but that's stretching it far in my view. I dig the great costumes tho.

The opening of this movie is meh, but I was laughing my ass off after half an hour. Really funny stuff. Those outfits are hilarious! The ending is pretty good. You actually feel compassion for Willie da pimp. He also runs like a moron, check it out
